Savanna Johnson is of Yaqui, Mayo, Potawatomi, Spanish, and Scandinavian decent, a mestiza. She is a published photographer specializing in Native American storytelling, and western lifestyle. 

She uses her art as a form of activism while reconnecting with her heritage, displaying the poetic beauty and resilience of the Original People and the Land.
